End User License Agreement (EULA)
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between JUNU ("Company") and the user ("User") of the TapCounter app ("App").
By downloading or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
Effective date: August 15, 2026 (v1.1.0)
Originally effective: July 8, 2026 (v1.0.0)
Summary of changes: Following the introduction of the "Remove Ads" in-app purchase, a new in-app purchase section (Section 4) has been added, and the advertising, data, disclaimer, and eligible age sections have been updated accordingly.
1. License Grant
The Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or rent the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the App for commercial purposes
- Obtain paid features by improper means, including circumventing the payment flow or the ad-removal feature, or using forged or altered receipts
3. Advertising
- The core features of the App are provided free of charge, and third-party ads are displayed through Google AdMob during free use. During ad delivery, Google may process device information, IP address, and advertising identifiers, and ads in the App are configured as non-personalized ads.
- If you purchase the "Remove Ads" product described in Section 4, no ads are displayed in the App for your store account.
- Ads are provided by Google and advertisers; the Company is not responsible for the content of ads or for any third-party sites or services linked through the ads.
- For details regarding the processing of personal information, please refer to the App's separate Privacy Policy.
4. In-App Purchase ("Remove Ads")
- Product: "Remove Ads" is a non-consumable product applied permanently after a single payment. It is not an auto-renewing subscription, and no recurring or additional charges occur.
- Payment: Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and the seller and payment counterparty is the respective store operator. You are charged the price displayed in the store at the time of purchase.
- Scope: The purchase is tied to the store account used for payment. Even if you uninstall the App or change devices, you can reapply it through the "Restore Purchases" feature using the same store account. Because iOS and Android are separate stores, a purchase made on one does not apply to the other.
- Receipt validation: The Company validates store receipts to confirm purchases and prevent fraud. If a receipt is invalid or found to be forged or altered, the Company may refuse or withdraw the ad-free benefit. For the information processed in this course, see Section 3 of the Privacy Policy.
- Refunds: Refunds and withdrawal of purchase follow each store's policies and procedures. The Company has no authority to directly cancel or refund a payment made through a store, so refund requests must be made to Apple or Google. Your rights under applicable law are not limited by this section.
- Price changes: The Company may change the product price, but any changed price applies only to purchases made after the change and is not applied retroactively to completed purchases.
- Discontinuation: If the Company discontinues the App service, use of the "Remove Ads" product ends as well. Even in that case, your rights are protected to the extent required by applicable law.
5. Data and Records
Count data created in the App is stored only on your device. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all records, and the Company is not responsible for such loss. However, the "Remove Ads" purchase is tied to your store account, so you can reapply it after reinstalling through "Restore Purchases."
6. Changes and Termination of Service
The Company may change the App's features or discontinue the service without prior notice. However, changes affecting paid products are handled in accordance with applicable law.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is." The Company is not responsible for any data loss, device damage, or other damages arising from use of the App. The Company is also not responsible for payment-related issues arising from causes beyond its control, such as store operator payment system failures or network errors.
8. Eligible Age and Purchases by Minors
- The App is a general-audience app and is not directed to any specific age group.
- If a minor uses the App, such use is recommended to be with the consent and supervision of a legal guardian.
- Purchases by minors require the consent of a legal guardian, and a purchase made without such consent may be cancelled in accordance with applicable law. The Company recommends using the purchase controls provided by the stores (Ask to Buy, Family Sharing, password requirements, etc.).
- The Company does not directly collect any identifying information from users through the App.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
